A continuing eruption from New Zealand's most active cone volcano is causing ash to fall on the mainland of Bay of Plenty. White Island, which lies 48 kilometres off the Bay of Plenty coast, was raised to a Volcanic Alert Level 2 after a surveillance camera captured a small eruption from its crater on Sunday.
GNS Scientists visited the island this morning and confirmed the volcano was still erupting with a 300 metre plume of ash spewing from the crater. This afternoon there have been reports of ash falling on Papamoa, which is on the coast near Tauranga.
"It is extremely fine, but it's visible on cars," said Carol Congalton.
GNS scientist Brad Scott said "A relatively new vent seems to have formed at the back of the crater lake and it's a very open vent and volcanic ash has been emitted from that."
The Aviation Colour Code remains at orange, meaning the volcano is "exhibiting heightened unrest". The volcano's first ash eruption since 2001 poses the highest level of risk for visitors to the island, GNS said, but it is not a threat to the mainland. GNS advises visitors to take a high level of caution, with possible health risks including ash and acid gas exposure, respiratory issues, and skin and eye sensitivity to acid gases. Scientists said the eruption could last a few days or weeks, or like the last one, which erupted for 25 years.

A volcano quiet for more than a century erupted in a New Zealand national park, spreading thick ash for several miles and causing some residents to evacuate their homes. Some domestic flights were canceled Tuesday. Mount Tongariro spewed ash and rocks for about 30 minutes late Monday night after a few weeks of increased seismic activity. It didn't cause any injuries or damage in the sparsely populated central North Island region. He said residents in the area have told GNS of hearing several loud explosions, lightning and plumes of smoke and police have been told by an onlooker that "a new hole in the side of the mountain" had formed. They have also reported bright red rocks flying out of the mountain. The eruption reportedly happened at the Te Mari Craters, which are close to the Ketetahi Hot Springs on the northern side of the mountain. Civil Defence says the volcanic activity could pose a threat to the Waikato, Hawkes Bay, Gisborne, Manawatu-Wanganui, Bay of Plenty and Taranaki regions. A warning was also issued at 1.45am to people in these affected areas saying residents should stay indoors since volcanic ash is a health hazard. Go to this orbital diagram. I'm using the Comet Elenin Orbital Diagram as it's one i've used before, so i'm familiar with it. There may be other orbital diagrams of the inner planets that you know about and prefer to use. Please feel free to use these and please compare what I found with your diagram.
On the above orbital diagram, set the date to August 8th 2012 and move the horizontal slide to around 2/3 the way along, left to right. The Earth will be at the bottom of the Sun and Mercury-Venus alignment will be above the Earth position at around "three o'clock". Compare these positions with the "starting point" of the smallest dots above in the crop circle photo. I think the "starting point" of whatever this crop circle is "pointing to" is for the dates approx. 8-12 August 2012. That's right about NOW !! ... and so it begins ???

There are no further alignments or 'close to alignments' after October 2034. btw. I ran the orbits up to 7 April 2052. So, make of this what you will. For my part, here goes a possible interpretation:
I think this crop circle might be referencing a "starting point", which is NOW... ie: August 8 or thereabouts, and will run through to 12 October 2034. Of particular significance are the years 2025 - 2031. I wonder what will be going on... ???

The 'proof' for me that the crop circle may be referencing the conjunct alignments of Sun-Mercury-Venus-Earth is the fact that there are no more alignments or 'close to' aligments at all for the next 20 years (or more) after 12 Oct 2034 !!! Hmmm.... This tells me that this next period of history is a very important one... but again, I wonder what the reference is to ?? : )
