INTERNATIONAL DEBT: "Money as Debt"

Posted by Bronwyn on October 18, 2011

5th October 2011
For New Zealand, this morning's news is that our credit rating has been down-graded from AA+ to AA. This will have ramifications for NZ's future ability to raise a loan from the World Bank to keep up with our Interest Payments back to these same banks of our nation's prior lending. That's a BIT scary. The bit that I find utterly perplexing  however, is that NZ's debt is 83% of GDP (total Gross Domestic Product).
Oh my Lord !!!  I sure didn't realise this before !!!

As far as I know, US debt is still marginally over 100% of their GDP. I didn't know that we in NZ are up to our ears with debt and seem to be taking this same path as we've seen in the US. What do those clowns in government (NZ) really think they're doing by holding such debt ???  It's not as if they don't have billions of dollars to play around with every week...  Oh, that's right !!! Keeping the citizenry locked into the Illusion of everything being wonderful... perception is so important to keep the "dumb masses" at bay... to prevent rioting and so on... particularly in an election year :-/  ... Currying favour with the Big Banks by retaining huge national debt (see movie: Money as Debt).

It's all such an enormous farce !!!

"While New Zealand’s public debt remains relatively low, the government is still spending more than its revenue"

Money As Debt is a fast-paced and highly entertaining animated feature by artist & videographer, Paul Grignon. It explains today's magically perverse DEBT-MONEY SYSTEM in terms that are easy to understand.

Check out his website: http://www.moneyasdebt.net/

Money is a new form of slavery, and distinguishable from the old simply by the fact that it is impersonal, there is no human relation between master and slave. Debt- government, corporate and household has reached astronomical proportions. Where does all this money come from? How could there BE that much money to lend? The answer is...there isn't. Today, MONEY IS DEBT. If there were NO DEBT there would be NO MONEY.
If this is puzzling to you, you are not alone. Very few people understand, even though all of us are affected.

Money As Debt II-Promises Unleashed explores the baffling, fraudulent and destructive arithmetic of the money system that holds us hostage to a forever growing DEBT... and how we might evolve beyond it into a new era.

Bailouts, stimulus packages, debt piled upon debt...Where will it all end?
How did we get into a situation where there has never been more material wealth & productivity and yet everyone is in debt to bankers?
And now, all of a sudden, the bankers have no money and we the taxpayers, have to rescue them by going even further into debt!

Criminal Banksters - full movie

This third and final movie in the Money as Debt Trilogy presents an attractive picture of how "money" could work in the future.  It is full of surprising specifics for creating a nurturing economy applied with technologies that exist right now.

Money as Debt III - Evolution Beyond Money demonstrates in simple terms why our primitive concept of money as a "single uniform commodity" is the ROOT cause of money system dysfunction and a major factor in economic and political injustice.

There is now, and there has long been, an alternative way to do "money".

Money as Debt III, Evolution Beyond Money illustrates in extensive and entertaining detail, how a fundamental change in our long-held concept of money, paired with recent breakthroughs in technology, opens the door to
a liberated, self-balancing global "money" backed by REAL VALUE and OPEN to ALL.
