Jeff Bezos is Firing Thousands of Grocery Store Cashiers, AI Surveillance to Replace Staff
Amazon owner Jeff Bezos is almost ready to launch a program that will get thousands of grocery store cashiers fired. As they introduce new automated stores requiring customers to sign in to an app which automatically tracks their movements, and what items they take while shopping, then charging automatically without any staff involvement. Jeff Bezos recently acquired Whole Foods and it is expected that this technology will be rolled out in their stores, as they take further control of the market.
