On Sept. 11, 2001, the world watched a terrible drama unfold the likes of which few of us had ever witnessed before and will never witness again.
It could only be compared to Pearl Harbor and was only exceeded in horror by the bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
Few of us at that time realized that it was “the new Pearl Harbor.”
My Dad phoned me at work and said that “they” were bombing the World Trade Center and I asked him, since he was around 80 at the time, if he was sure he wasn’t watching the remake ofWar of the Worlds.
Then I turned on the TV in the staff lunchroom and my life changed forever.
But it still took me seven more years to realize what had actually happened that day. It was only in the face of irrefutable evidence from a video called In Plane Site that my mind could make the leap to believing the unimaginable.
