Symptoms, preventions for COVID-19. Research and personal experience.

Image from this video

Please get your head around what's happening in your country and continent by comparing the daily data I have been collecting since 25 February on the COVID-19 tab in the menu > https://co-creatingournewearth.blogspot.com/p/covid-19.html

Symptoms for Coronavirus include: Fever, fatigue, dry cough, myalgia (muscle pain), dyspnea (shortness of breath), diarrhea, nausea, headache, dizziness, abdominal pain, vomiting... and the death-knell symptom, which is pneumonia. If your cough symptoms are on the way to becoming severe, you need to go to hospital immediately for oxygen treatment.  Otherwise, stay at home and self-quarantine. See video below, particularly from 12:05.

Coronavirus Epidemic Update 28: Practical Prevention Strategies, Patient Age vs. Case Fatality Rate

PUBLIC SERVICE NOTIFICATION. COVID-19 #Coronavirus  - A personal anecdote.

I am currently in self-quarantine as best I can since I have had mild symptoms since 14 February. My partner works in IT for a large international communications company with people coming and going all the time from various locations in the world, including Asia. Since 10 February, my partner has been working in a small 4 x 4m (12 x 12 foot) room with a colleague who has been coughing (dry cough), for the last 3 weeks. Within 3 days of contact with this man, my partner had symptoms. 1 days after him, I had symptoms. As I continued research on COVID-19 I realised that my partner and I both had 7 out of the 11 symptoms of this virus (see image). We have kept pneumonia at bay by using essential oil massage - particularly peppermint and benzoin - a lot of spicing in food (chilli, ginger, garlic, Indian and Thai spices), Colloidal silver in our filtered drinking water, bursts of 2000mg of Vitamin C for 3 consecutive days when symptoms worsen, electrolytes due to diarrhoea, eating clean - lots of leafy green salads and vegetables.

Sleep is also necessary... The body is able to defeat viruses best when the body is allowed to sleep. Eg: I slept 10 hours in total today - 7 hours last night and 3 more hours this afternoon. I never need this much sleep normally. I'm usually good on around 7 hours a day. Giving yourself the sleep you need is very important. Please see the MedCram video on sleep here > https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qqZYEgREuZ8&t=439s

We are also hand-washing for 20 seconds (recommended) and nail scrubbing! (important). Use of anti-bacterial hand sanitiser and chlorine-based cleaners is also advisable. Reasoning: While affected with the virus, you want to mitigate bacterial infection as much as possible, so use bleach-based products which kills both virus and bacterial infection. Coronavirus lasts up to 10 days on surfaces according to many studies previously done on Human Coronaviruses, so wipe down door handles, railings, bannisters, car steering wheels, laptop keyboards and so on - particularly surfaces in public places. Simply, don't touch them, or wear gloves.

COVID-19 is airborne. The technical name for this is: aerosolised. Being in the same room with other people who have or carry the virus but have no symptoms (asymptomatic) can pass the virus on to you... eg: at church, supermarkets, public transport, sports arenas, movie theatres, and so on. You may be carrying or not show any symptoms for up to 3 weeks, so all people need to become very self-aware.

Note: My partner and my symptoms have been very mild which means we could still be super-spreaders. This is how the virus got such a kick-start in South Korea due to a worshipper with minimal symptoms attending church - and suddenly, over 100 people were directly affected. That's because Coronavirus spreads in the air: Aerosolised. If you also have any of the symptoms as seen in the image at the top from mild to severe, or even none at all, you might also have Coronavirus. You might also be a super-spreader. You just don't know.

Therefore, caution is necessary at this time. As the video above says, now is not a good time for you to visit elderly parents with your children. Your children may also be potential carriers, even though they have no symptoms, and older people over 60 years are in the highest fatality group, by far.  So please do take sensible action for your situation. Eg: My partner is now in self-quarantine with me, is seeking clarification from his company regarding communicable disease in the work-place, and is able to work remotely from home.

I hope this information is helpful to you.
See you on the other side!
